    I alway's "Season" my cast grates by coating them thick with bacon grease and then chucking them in the oven for about an hour at 350. Take them out and let it cool. Repeat the process again. Volla' They will be slick as snot. Do this about every three months for best results.

    Last night I had the first steak off the new grill.

    Oh.

    My.

    GAWD.

    At this point, I think I'm completely cured of spending $20 for a steak at a restaurant. I can spend $5 - $7 at the store and get much better quality, now that I have a grill that works properly.
