I believe you should use all of the tools that are available to you. I also own a kindle that will hold up to 35000 books and it will hold a charge for 30 days. That can be a very large survival library in a very small package. If you are going to rely on technology that would be wrong but it is just one more tool in my toolbox.

I can make one with a fire plow, but I prefer a bow and spindle. I am probably a "kid" to you... but I am also a Eagle Scout and a Minisino.

Really? It didn't ask for mine. And I always have GPS disabled...wonder if it was a "copy cat" program or something.
