I actually voted for Obama in 2008. My thinking was, "This country has been run by old white men forever. Maybe it's time to try something different." I quickly realized how wrong I was and never repeated that mistake again.

In my defense, I was in my 40's back then and at the tail end of a mid-life crisis. After I went through "manopause" I've been much more rational.
