    Finally got everything bolted together this afternoon. Decided I'd like to have another .223 bolt gun and set this one up to be a 600 yard capable plinker. I'll probably have a new barrel installed and get everything trued up at some point to extend the range out to 800 but if it shoots well I'll probably hold off for awhile.

    Remington 700 SPS in .223, cut & threaded at 18", SAS suppressor, Seekins 20MOA base & 1.26" rings, Nightforce 5.5-22x50 NP-R1, XLR Evolution chassis and an Atlas bipod.

    I'm thinking about having this one dipped in Multicam instead of the ATACS I had put on my .308 but haven't made up my mind yet.

    I just figured it up, $4030 as it sits.

    Barreled action = 475
    Chassis = 800
    Suppressor = 800
    Bipod = 200
    Rings/Base = 200
    Scope = 1450
    Bolt knob = 75
    Magazine = 30

    The bad news is it'll be another $900 (roughly) if/when I have a new barrel put on.

    well one thing is for sure you have great taste in a 233 bolt rig..... id settle for just a police model rem700 in 223 for coyote use i dont need a larger caliber
