Dick's Sporting Goods actually has one of the best prices for the rifle, of course you have to special order it and it takes up to four weeks. But, if you can stand to wait, they sell it for $550. I have been waiting for mine for two weeks and once I have it in hand I am slapping a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x33 and heading to the range with the Hornady Leverevolution ammo to zero in the scope.

I know that the recently released 77/44s barrels are different from the original 77/44. The new ones have a 1 to 20 twist which handles lighter grain bullets a lot better. I heard the older ones were pretty hit or miss from rifle to rifle. I have read some great things about the recently released ones though that lead me to believe that the accuracy is significantly more consistent.

Any experience with any other rounds that have comparable accuracy to the Leverevolutions?
