    I remember watching John Belushi do his Joe Cocker impression, and just marveled at how spot on he was, both great talents, both gone too soon....

    My empire of dirt
    I got turned on to Joe in '88 when I was in college by my roommate. At first I thought "who in the hell is this spastic knucklehead", but I soon realized he had a very unique style and voice; one that I've come to appreciate more and more over the years. I didn't learn of his passing till about an hour ago. Sad. Rest in peace Joe.
