Who is a good gunsmith in southern Indiana?
I have decided to stop buying guns and spend my money on making the ones I already have more reliable.

I have 3 factory 1911 style autos that need some reliability work.

5" SS colt enhanced series 80
4" SS colt enhanced officers series 80
5" RIA widebody (this gun barely even has a ramp!)

There's a guy in Lanesville that I've used before and he was highly recomended. That's almost as far south as you can get. If you're interested let me know and I'll try and find his number in the morning.

Not sure what you consider southern Indiana but there is a Gunsmith near Columbus by the name of Gary Growe that I and a few freinds have used that we were all happy with the results. Phone #812-342-6079 . He is located about 1 mile west of I-65 on state road 46.

Gary is probably one of the top gunsmiths in the country but if your in a hurry be warned he's always got a backlog of months, I've had Gary do several guns for me and the results are always great.

I've not had him do any work personally, but Chuck at Chuck's gun repair has a decent rep in the area. He's in Bloomington and I think he's only open Monday and Thursday.
