About 8 o'clock this morning I looked on my phone at the Walmart website, and what did they have? .22 ammo in stock!! So me and a couple buddies went to the Vincennes Walmart and they had 7 boxes of .22 lr in 225 round boxes. I was so excited so I bought my 3 boxes and my buddies bought the others. They also had federal 9mm but I got some 9mm so I opted for the never seen .22.

Good on your Walmart for being accurate on their stock status. I soured on that after making several excited stops to local Walmarts showing stock only finding nothing. Congrats on finding some.

I met my wife at Walmart to get a few odds and ends, I walked back to the firearms counter. I stood there with about 4 guys, an employee comes up and offers help, so I ask if they have any 40 S&W? He say no, and starts talking about how fast it goes, I look around all the other guys standing there already left! I guess the 40 is a popular caliber around here???

That's why we have a shortage, 1 person buys everything so nobody else can get any.

I don't begrudge it, well, actually I kind of do to be honest...

Welcome to capatalism. I'll tell you why there is a shortage. The panic buyers have increased demand. Which has lowered supply and raised cost.

The employee's at the Auburn Walmart take all of the ammo(minus shotgun ammo) before it hit's the shelve's. How do I know this? I have a so-called friend that work's there, who's taking part in this trend. They sell it on Armslist.

I threw clothes on and ran to walmart to see if I could get some 9. At 840 everything was gone. I need to get on your call list.

Guess I should have looked at the date you posted.
