Did anybody read the letter to the editor titled "Going the John Wayne Route where guns are everywhere"? I have to laugh at the sheepish bleating coming from the peanut galleries.

My response follows; In response to the letter to the editor titled "Going the John Wayne route where guns are everywhere", the writer might run back to the sheepbarn if he were to find out that Indiana Citizens with a License to carry a handgun can legally carry a weapon, in a holster, on their hip, in plain sight, right now. With few limitations they are perfectly legal and in their right to do so. Yet somehow I don't see the uncontrolled slaughter that his bleating would tend to indicate would be the natural outcome of such a practice. Perhaps he should open his eyes to the world around him, he might learn a thing or two!

Of course it won't be published but I couldn't go quietly

here i thought john wayne held himself as highly respected in all of his movies. maybe he is watching different films.

Yep... What those that are wanting to disarm us are totally out of touch with is the thought process of a criminal. If you are going to commit a criminal act you don't want everyone armed.

I will never understand the mind of the sheep. If you want to see the effects of a government that forbids citizens to own guns, just look at Mexico. The people are meaningless in Mexico.
