Cubs need 108 outs to become this year's ws champs. Last time they were ws champs was 108 tears ago. That's some witchy poo right there.

I stayed up to watch the Cubs celebrate. It made me think of my grandfather who was a lifelong, die hard, Cubs fan. He was born in 1912 and lived to the mid 90's without ever seeing them in the Series. He was serving in the Pacific when they went in '45. I know he is smiling somewhere today.

they were in the World Series in 1932 also. It's when Babe Ruth called his famous Home Run shot, at Wrigley Field in Chicago. It's a magical place

During Game 1 they said he was slated to start games 1, 4 and 7 if necessary. He could rest when the season was over. LOL

Hopefully the short rest takes a little out of his game. The Cubs couldn't predict his pitch then when they did, they couldn't hit it.
