Glock 23. Great or whoops!!!!

Ordered one on grab a gun 599. 40SW is this a gun I Will trust or going to regret. I usually look for the CCW type of weapons. I love my Glocks having a 17, 30s and now this but as far as 40cal goes I have a Taurus, Springfield(xd40) and now this G23. Who would you carry??

G23 is my everyday carry.

never had any problems aside from various user errors/learning experiences. fits my hand better than full size and subcompact versions.

you're good to go with that gun.

For what its worth.....
My Glock 23 gen4 has been 100%. Its my carry of choice. I prefer it to my other options. To each their own, but for me its been a great acquisition.

Ive been carrying one everyday for five years now, and it has a large round count. I own many other handguns, and I wouldn't swap it for anything.

I would have no issues carrying the G23. I personally carry a G17 as EDC. Personally I am not a fan of the .40S&W round. I stick to the 9mm and .45 for semi-auto handguns. However I have no doubt in the cartridge. Hope it serves you well! Long live Glock!

Very good choice IMHO...just feed it as much as you can these days and become proficient using it.

G23 is my wife's carry gun. She can shoot a nice group with it too. Never had a problem with ANY Glock we have owned.

Buy the 40 and the 9mm barrel can work in it. Not so much the other way around. I like the 30 with its .460 Rowland and 10mm upgrades.

My ONLY issue with the G-23 was I could not comfortably shoot the 3rd Gen models with finger grooves, once I got a well worn LEO trade in 2nd Gen, it was all over, it is my most accurate Glock, I stake my and my families life on it.

I've had a G23 for years. Reliable. Easy to break down and clean. Uses fairly easy to find ammo. Absolutely nothing about this gun that I don't like.
