To answer the quiz it is Dawn Wells.

When Gilligan's Island was just starting the original actress, Nancy McCarthy, was recast.

At the time Dawn Wells was married to her agent. When her agent pushed the contract with the producers his basic pitch was, "Look, this thing may not go anywhere so you're not out anything. Give Dawn residuals forever."

So that is what CBS did. CBS humored her husband and agreed to residuals if the show ever went into syndication, which as we all know is exactly what it did. She is the only one to make money off of the reruns today. All the other actors/actresses received that standard weekly pay and a bit for a year or two then nothing.

You would have thought Bob Denver or some bigger name but nope, sweet little Mary Ann runs away with the money.
