Getting a little too close for comfort

Curious bear... more like adorable bear!

I was hunting last year out near Brookville and a gang off turkeys flew in from across the river. I thought a helicopter was landing.

Family has a summer camp in western Ontario. At the end of a three week stay my cousin took accumulated trash to the dump. It is a bear watching hangout for touristy types.

He backed up the van, got out and scoped the area and saw a sow and cubs about 100 yards away.

He walks around the back of the van, opened the doors, grabbed a bag and turned around to have her standing up close enough to damn near smell her breath. He literally soiled himself, threw the bag at her and she fell right on top of it.
