I just picked up some Winchester 40 180gr bonded ammo at the Bashford Manner shopping center in Louisville. The sticker price was $24.98 per box (50 rounds per box). When I checked out they rang up as $19.98. I got another couple of boxes.
From my research this ammo is the same that government agencies carry and is virtually the same ammo as the Winchester PDX1 and the Rangers expect for PDX1s sell for $25 for 20 rounds.

Was it the Winchester Ranger 180gr Bonded you bought for $19.98 or are you comparing what you bought to PDX1's & Rangers? I'm confused by your post.

Sorry. I am comparing the ones that I bought to the PDX1's & Rangers. The box is white with black lettering and just says Winchester bonded.

Bud's guns has a website, Discount Guns for Law Enforcement by Buds Gun Shop (budsgunshop.com), and right now they have some good prices on bulk .40 and .45. You must be able to provide first responder or military ID to order from the site, but if you can its well worth it.

I just ordered 1,000 rounds of American Eagle .45 for under $350 shipped. .40 is a about $30 cheaper.

Get it before the Obama Panic of 2012 drives up prices!

If you are eligible to buy from Kieslers, they have trade in .40 ammo, American Eagle in either 165 or 180gr, 1,000 rounds for $242 plus shipping and tax. I just ordered 1,000 rounds and my total was a few pennies shy of $275.
