One of my friends neighbors have him a 22 revolver with hs on white plastic grips and Germany stamped on the barrel. From what little we could find it appears to be an hs omega series revolver. Other than that we can't find much else on it. So I decided to turn to the vast knowledge of ingo in our quest. Does anybody know anything about these? Hopefully I can get pictures up later.

I think just a serial number but I'll have him send me some more pictures of that area. On left hand side of the frame there are 3 proof marks. Hopefully I'll have my computer tomorrow and I'll be able to upload pictures. For some reason my phone won't let me.

If it is an RG, which I would bet it is, throw it away. Biggest POS ever produced. Had one a long time ago.

Ok still can't upload pictures but in the bottom of the grip is just a serial number, and I don't believe it to be a korth or rg.

It holds 8 rounds, the cylinder doesn't swing open so you have to load one round, turn it, then load another etc. working on the pictures, my computer is still down. Actually it looks just like the one in the video you posted except white grips and no model number on the grip, just the serial number.

I doubt it's an RG but more likely the above mentioned Herbert Schmidt. Look like any of these? Numrich has parts for some Herbies.

It looks like the one on the right with the more rounded trigger guard. Well regardless of quality he got it for free and we've had it out a few times and it shoots ok with the cheap 22 ammo we managed to find. Thanks for all the info guys.
