Yep, the news media likes to see how much control they have over everyone. They found they can get people to vote for their candidates, and they also found that they could destroy the economy by telling the oil companies to go ahead and raise profits...I mean prices because price increases were already broadcast as going to happen.

When I filled up on Weds AM at the Shell at 96th and Allisonville, regular unleaded was $2.45/gal, premium V power was @ $2.99/gal.

Wifey took me and the boy out for Chinese food tonight, and while most gas stations were $2.99/gal, Swifty gas station was $2.84 a gallon.

Most stations went to $2.99 around here today. I few still at $2.86, I filled up there.

It really stinks when you have to buy this crap 200+ gallons at a time to make a living. My fuel bill runs 1000-1300 a week. Trying to get any extra money for loads is like pulling teeth. Anyway welcome to "change".

Inflation means the dollar you had last week buys less of the same product this week.
