Its great to see there is a web site for Indiana Gunners.

I was born and rasied in Melbourne, Australia and moved to the US back in 1999.
I have been asked many times why would l move from Down Under to here. As fella gunners you would understand freedom.
My freedom to own a pump action shotgun was taken away back in 1997, when the government said legal gun owners who own semi-action shotgun, semi-action rifles and pump action shotguns are no longer allow to have them.
    Pistols have never been allowed
How blessed are we, lets make sure we dont lose that right given to us

Thank you to all who started and run this web site

    Wow, welcome.
Instead of all crowding into this little corner of the globe, I wish we'd expand gun ownership rights; raise all ships so to speak.

    :welcome:

I'd love to hear more about how the whole process of gun confiscation happened in Australia. It might help us preserve our freedoms here.

Its called government control, on where and when you can buy a gun. The police know how many and what guns you own, they also have the right to come to your house and check day or night that you have it lock up the a safe and ammo in a different safe than the guns

The great thing about hunting over there is its open season on wild pigs, rabbits and foxes. They are pest and you are allowed to shoot day or night as many as you like, you dont have to tag them

I had a Remington 870 wingmaster which l paid $700 back in 94. In 97 when l handed the gun over they gave me $300.
In Melbourne there were rallies that were the biggest the town had ever seen, in the end it did not help.
Now the guns are gone people are been killed with knives. Go figure
The government is at this point banning knives. I personal dont know the whole story behind that, but l believe its spring loaded, fightning, swords etc knives
