My wife won't let me?
Are there any INGOers who have never done this and would like to try it out or learn more? Maybe you're a little too nervous, or you are just curious about competitive shooting. Definitely consider FNS. Drop me a PM at least, even if you are still on the fence about coming out.
Marion County Fish & Game AssociationI am interested in this and I am off today .
Are there direction to the location posted anywhere?
I would like to come and check it out before I actually shoot . I don't want to do anything too stupid.
How's that 465 west construction mess going?
Coming from out of town, would it be better to cut over to 65 then come south on 465?
My 870 is ready so I'll be rocking it tonight as well.
Current forecast shows "isolated thunderstorms" possible tonight (30% chance), so it looks like we'll be fine. If it is raining at setup time or if there's a strong chance in the forecast, we typically shoot from under the "lid" so nobody gets wet.
Those looking for an excuse to wuss out on FNS will have to use something other than the weather... The "exploding Glock" excuse offered earlier in this thread set the bar pretty high.
I put on the TruGlo TFO (Tritium Fiber Optic). I thought it was a really great idea for a sight on a defense/combat shotgun. Works in low or no light and is very robust and easy to acquire, yet doesn't let your opponent see any of the light. I don't know how he went from 10 days to 2, but I'm not going to complain. FWIW, it was Mike Mangold from Fort Liberty in Avon. It just so happened that when I dropped it off to him on Tues. morning I also ran into him at the new member meeting that night at MCFG!
So I guess we'll both be trying out the TFO's tonight. I just had one put on the Kimber.
