Fresh original Colt 1911 rebuild, finally done!!

I just got done with this project. It is basically a brand new gun. The frame is a Rock Island, and it has all Ed Brown match SS parts. I got a stainless hammer to match the trigger but would have done some custom work and need a drop in beaver tail safety so I didn't install it. It started with an original WW1 bring back and the original frame had some issues, I think it turned out beautiful!

It's parkerized, the slide was parkerized sometime during the war and the frame is from Sarco parkerized also. The slide was made before 1913!
