Yeah. What training appeared on their dd214's? You make a broad sweeping generalization about vets and equate untrained NG's versus vets who had training, were in war zones, etc.

Broad sweeping about Veterans you say.....
Most of my family, and myself are Veterans, both of my sons are active Infantry Marines.
My Father his brother, my youngest sister, my oldest son and myself have been on combat deployments... We have earned the right to speak our opinions..
The last thing I want are Armed Soldiers and Marines taking care of the streets where protests and rioting are happening.
Im going to guess you're just not old enough to remember some things that have happened in America...
Be careful what you wish for, History is well known to repeat itself....

Sonny, I got a DD214. 1969-1975. I was a SeaBee but trained at Camp LeJeune.

I can't believe a vet would equate untrained kids with live ammo at Kent State with seasoned veterans offering to help police defend our cities.

I think you miss the scope and scale of the events.

    You said:

What did their DD214's show at Kent St? I'll tell you what: Nothing. They didn't have DD214's.

If you are going to besmirch vets, you better know what you're talking about, which you obviously don't.

Prove they had DD214's at that time and I'll apologize. Otherwise, you should.

So their we no active NCO's and Officers there? LOL
National Guard train once a month and a few weeks each summer...

Not really sure....cleaning off my motorcycle lift in the garage and smoking a chicken with the radio on in the background.

    Antifa?

Did he provide any evidence at all? It will be a hard sell, given all the non-police looting, attacking and destroying going on.

Gentlemen, is the street organizer in chief is trying to use melanin as political cover, to avoid prosecution for being a traitor?

    I haven't missed anything SeaBee...
Sonny? I wasn't a SeaBee....I am a East Coast Infantry Marine.. As all the Marines in my family. 76-82 stop lossed into 83.
Buy me a Pepsi and I'll tell you why my enlistment was extended...
Ive seen riots, I watched DC burn growing up..not like whats going on in Indy.
You could still see in 2010 building that were burned in 1968...
Johnson brought almost 17,000 active Soldiers and Marines into DC...
Ive seen riots in other countrys when the military shows up in a LE role....
A few here should be careful for what they wish for....
You my friend have never seen what can quickly happen..

    Howdy fella's.....:wavey:

    Howdy CM.
Was digging through the fun room and found all those 22-250's that still haven't been used up.

And we had chicken with rice and veggies.
It's the ongoing plot to improve the better 2/3's diet.
Lot's of fresh fruits at breakfast, disgustingly healthy.
But the oriole appreciates the leftovers.
