Just wanted to give Fort Liberty Firearms in Avon a plug. Great group of guys to deal with. Purchased my Glock 19 from them today. They had the best price in town and the best customer service to match it.

Thanks for the great deal, I will be returning for my next gun!

Aw, hey, that's not nice to make fun.
Just because it's smaller than my G17 is no reason to mock him. :D

    Congrats on the purchase, though.
Glock will not let you down.

Just don't fire re-loads out of it.

i was thinking more along the lines of glocks being about the plainest looking gun on the planet, with the 19 being one of the most common. but if the ugly shoe fits...

Why? there is nothing wrong with firing reloads through a glock. Especially a 9mm. Shooting .40 reloads may be of some concern because of the high pressure...but I got to tell ya...I shoot ONLY reloads out of my g35 in limited (USPSA) and have had a total of 0 ammo related problems and 0 KaBooms in the 1000's of reloads down that stock barrel. Granted they are not at the same pressures of factory ammo, but many of them were shot from the glock then reloaded.
If you shoot reloads...use a case gauge and have a good time...even with a Glock

EDIT: I have Heine "straigt eight" night sights on my G23. Compared to the typical 3 dot set-up they are easier to line up and get on target IMO. Not as easy to pick up as a Big-dot, but then again nothing is.

Both of my G19s see nothing but reloads except for carry ammo (Gold Dots). Maybe what he meant to say was don't shoot led bullets thru the factory Glock barrel. The rifleing in Glock barrels doesn't like lead and can cause problems, but fmj reloads are fine.

I like the XS 24/7 Big Dot sights on my carry Glocks. They are easier to see with old eyes.
