For those who work, what shift do you work?

I know there are some on here who work 3rd shift (Vampires) like I do. I just wondered how the membership is spread across the shifts.

I tend to work in the range of second shift. Anywhere from noon - midnight usually.

I work the night shift at Cummins and evedently prefer it to day shift. I have been with Cummins for 11 years and 6 have been on 3rd shift. Never thought I would be a night owl. I have found that when we were working 7 days a week it was alot easier. Now that I have the weekends off my honey do list has increased and my sleep times are screwed up. I still would rather be on 3rd than any other.

I had to vote other. I've worked 1900-0730 3 nights a week for about 19 years. I just can't get up in the mornings now. I read a study a few years back saying that ppl that work nights for most of their career are chronically tired, which I can attest to, and can lose as much as 10 years off of their lives. Guess I'll be kickin the bucket soon....

Afternoons. Every other weekend.

Myself, I work (usually) like noon to 9pm, 4 or 5 days a week..

this is typical rota in manufacturing.

I work from 0330 to 0830 M-F and 0715 to 1200ish on Saturdays. I go to sleep early, but I don't wait in line at banks and grocery stores!
