I picked up a new FNH today. It is a FNX-9 came with 3 17 round mags and and 4 different backstraps. I am a huge fan of FNH.

But I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the X stood for in FNX?
The person at the gun shop told me that it ment that this was FN's top of the line pistol, is that true?
