    Muzzle Break, flash hider etc.

Are they all one in the same, or is there one or two manufacturers that stand out as making a one thats better than the next? Its an easy upgrade for my new rifle, so I just wanted to make sure before I bought one just because it looked "cool", but didn't function well. Thanks!

MUZZLE-BREAK & FLASH HIDER are two different things, muzzle-break reduce recoil & flash hider reduces the flash that comes out the barrel;)

Your correct. I should have specified exactly what I wanted, instead of what they are always commonly called. Im looking for an actual flash hider.

My AR-15 with 11.5 inch barrel has a long 5.5 inch flash hider, to make sure you have at least 16 inches to be legal, reducing the flame coming out of the barrel, good only if your sniping, cause the rifle round is loud.:D

just a regular a2 flash hider will do. I seen a video that showed the a2 up against the higher priced hiders and the a2 was the best. doesn't look as cool as some but it does the job

I have a AK74 style muzzle break on my Bushmaster. I can defiantly tell a difference compared to rifles I have shot that have the standard birdcage style.
