new gun? Keltec P11. Double stack 9mm with horrible sights, but I learned that not every pistol is a 25 yard plinker. at 3 yards, you can draw, and dump the mag, all in center mass, and thats what a defensive pistol needs to do.

That being said, I carry a Glock 23. Unless Im in my kayak, then I carry the P11..

Ruger .22 Mark 1. Still have it and it still runs great. I was cleaning it last year and the spring retainer on tip of the slide broke, I called Ruger for a new one and they sent it to me for free. Thats customer service. That gun is nearly 50 years old.

Well depends on what counts as new. My first gun was a Shield 9 that had 50 rounds down the pipe...so basically new but I bought it from a friend. If that doesn't count, then my M&P9 full size I bought off an INGOer that had never been fired.

XD 9 4 Inch Service but if I had to do it over again it would have been a Glock 19. I was too apprehensive and wanted the grip safety, now I wish it wasn't there.
