    Looks great. A cheap paint job greatly improves the bland nature of the all black AR. No need for stencils or anything else. just mask off anything that does not need paint and get creative. I always mask off the front sight post and rear aperature, remove the bolt and close the dust cover and get busy. And believe it or not but the color that you use as base can effect the finished look, even if you use the exact same colors.

    Yea that's basically what I did lol. Just taped off what I didn't want painted sprayed a base coat of the lighter color and just grabbed some sticks and stuff from my woods and just started painting. I think the less formal you get with it the better it turns out.

    That's awesome. I have been thinking about doing some makeup to my AR. I have been afraid to mess it up though. You did a great job. Did you think it was very difficult to do?
