My WASR is also a 10/63 and has never been fed anything but Wolf steel case stuff, it has never had a FTF / FTE. My only complaint is the foul stink of the Wolf. Something about that smell tells me that it can't be good for you.

I will have to admit I was very lucky, (karma, stars aligned & all that) but I think if you keep an eye on the Dunham's stores in Kokomo, Muncie & Bedford you might get lucky if you don't mind a WASR. I travel around some from time to time with some work that I do, and I always check out these stores. I remember the one on the eastside of Indy years ago always seemed to have Garand's for good prices. I won't even go into what I should have done
Now the hard part is finding ammo for a decent price. Went to Walmart at 96th street the other day and they had Tula for $4.97-20rd box. They had a lot, but would only let you buy 10 boxes at a time. I should've taken what I had out to the truck and gone back try to get more. When I ended up coming a day or two later it was gone. Have been finding it for $6.99-20rds here and there. Still not too bad and it seems every time I go to my cart when I find a deal on the internet it is out of stock. Although I bought some the other day online from Cabela's and it was in 20rd boxes for $6.99. Then there are the mags.
