Congrats to you and Mrs Fenway! Best wishes on a quick recovery for Mom and some patience from the little guy. Parenting is hard, but I hardly remember a life before it.
Remember the rules:
1. NEVER wake a sleeping baby. EVER. PERIOD.
2. Sleep when the baby sleeps. You need to adjust his cycle because he won't give a damn about yours.
3. Anyone more than 18 months out from direct experience of parenting kids at your age stage is completely uncertified to correct you. They are working from memory, and memory is faulty.
4. Love the grandparents, they are your failsafe and your support. Even when they are completely wrong.
5. NEVER, EVER wake a sleeping baby. You can do anything quietly or at another time. That is why the Good Lord made suppressors.

Best parenting advice we have EVER gotten. Still holds true in our house, and our "baby" is 4 years old!
We dread the day when he stops taking naps, cuz that means we won't be able to, either!
