I didn't get on the water AT ALL this year, and am pretty bummed about it. I usually do most of my fishing in the spring and early summer. I may have just a little free time after Labor Day, so am looking for some Fall Fishing Advice.

What is biting in the fall? Any good "hot spots"? Any better baits or lures?

I normally use a spinning rod and lures, but occasionally fly fish. I've got a little john boat with a trolling motor, too (though it would need registered).

What's the secret sauce for post-Labor Day fishing?

Lake Monroe. Stump jumpers in charteruse and white. Troll them for wipers. When you find them just cast into them. Lotta fun also try some casting spoons like the castmaster.

I hope you have better luck than what I have had this year so far. I am skunked for the year so far. I have not been but maybe 4 times so far since it has been so hot and I have to bank fish since I dont have a boat.
I fish on the bottom which most people dont. Good luck this fall. I will try to get out there more when it cools off too.

I have been out a couple times this year. I didn't catch anything , but at least i got to shoot on both trips ( i was at Crosley's ). I would like to find some good spots to fish in southern Indiana. I have only lived in the area a few years. If anyone knows of any please let me know.
