Exploding targets... Worth the price?

Hello all.... I was watching the history channel (i think) the other day and saw a segment on exploding targets. I used my trusty friend, google, and found out it is tannerite and very legal in all fifty states. It is somewhat expensive to buy but looks like fun on tv. I was just curious if any of you have heard of, know of, or tried this stuff out. If it is really worth it, I might get some an blow some stuff up. Thanks in advance for any stories you can give me.

I am planning on picking some up this summer. I am only going to ge a small quantity though, just for trial purposes.

The smallest amount I could find was 50-100 bucks! I know that isn't a "whole lot" but I'm in college so I need every penny I can get. If you find a 20 dollar trial let me know!
