Going....have been disappointed in the past. I'm being optimistic this time though. I actually have some $$ saved for any opportunities I see I this time.

Dad actually called me up 2 weeks ago and said he wanted to make a day of gun shows/store hopping. He's 100% convinced "The Messiah" is going to implement the 400% tax on ammo after he takes office. So 4H center in the morning...and Wittaker's in the afternoon....and Moonlight BBQ for lunch. Yum.

What a freaking joke it was. Won't ever be back (NO Trading Inside). Must support the gunshow loophole law...:noway:

    $1300 for an Olympic AR15:rolleyes:
    $1400 for a Winchester 9410

One guy had a bunch of reasonably priced Colt 1911s.

    Yep...agree. Complete joke. Very disappointed...AGAIN!

One guy, trying to sell Mosin Nagants for $129. 6 Months ago..same guy...same booth...had them for $99. I think most of the tables in there are store dealers that still try to mark up their stuff and sell at these things. I dunno if they're trying to get in on the "Obama" hype or what.....pretty sick though. Gun shows just don't seem fun anymore.

On another note, I did buy a Mosin Nagant down at Whittakers for $80. Picked up some ammo for it and shot about 20 rounds this afternoon. Shoulder has bruising.

I agree as well. I was sorely disappointed in the show today. Crappy selection and what was available make Gander Mountain look cheap. Spent 45 minutes there and went on my way.

About 30 minutes for me yesterday morning. No laws have changed yet I noticed substantial increases in some items. I saw Glock mags for $40.

Was at Whittakers last weekend. I agree thier selection is not what it usually is. Thier Kimber case was bare bones.

Congratulations on the new gun. The show was a waste of time.
