Got mine today. Couple dumb questions.

On the belt holster, does it really matter which side of the screws face out? Grommet vs Phillips head.

And how do you use this leg holster thing?

I don't think it matters. I have mine where the philips head faces out so they're visible on my 3mil. I'm sure I'll do the same thing on the DT once I get around to putting it together.

I'm not a big fan of the boot clip. The Molle Back works much better for carrying your knife IMO. You can't use both at the same time, screws won't be long enough. I would say keep the boot clip in case someone says WTB ESEE 3 Boot Clip :D

It's a boot clip? Here I was thinking its a belt clip...

How do you use the Molle black?

It is considered a BELT CLIP but will work as a boot clip as well.

The molle back is to be attached to a vest if needed. I prefer mine without the molle back and use my belt clip. I would keep all fo the attachments becuase you never know down the road if you might need it.

Attach the Molle Back to your sheath. You can either attach the knife to a backpack that has Molle setup or you can carry it on your belt. At the top, there's velcro. Just pull it apart, slide your belt through. It rides in the perfect spot for me.

BAAM!!!!! Mine showed up today as well! I did a good job of forgetting about this as it was a total surprise when I went to the mail box! Thanks Knife Lady, glad I got to be a part of this one!

P.S. I''ll trade even Steven the black sheath for the OD one if anyone is interested!

Well heck, now I need to find an excuse to leave early so I can go home to check the mail.

Hey Ripper. We're like neighbors and stuff. I live in Leo and work in Huntertown (over by the Issac Walton League).

I'm from the Leo area myself, moved to the city 20 years ago and just recently made my escape out of that crap hole. But I still have to work in the Fort.

Yes the desert tan color was the most popular in this group buy.
It is also my favorite although I am very fond of the 3or 4 with the od green blade and orange g10 handles. Those are my favorite.

Here's a few pictures, I'll get better ones later for the Esee picture thread.

I'm really liking this thing, I should have gotten one sooner.

And by the way, this is my first ever fixed blade knife :D

Congrats lovemachine! Excellent choice for your first fixed blade. I'm a bit partial to ESEEs especially the 3.

Welcome to the addiction. It always starts with 1.

Well, after running to drop off the kids, pick up the kids, get dinner etc. I finally got home and got to open my package from Sheila (and something from Brad too). What a treat! Thank you Sheila!

I think I will end up with a 3 as well, one of these days.

I hear you Ripper, I grew up in "the big city" - I like it a lot better being out a ways.

Wish I would have ordered a 4 now. The 3 and my Izzy 2 are very similar...

Then again, the 4 might be very similar to my laser strike...

    Input any one?
