Who buys DVDs anymore?Im pretty sure its money. Eventually, most shows release seasons on dvd. If they put 23 episodes out, thats less seasons, which is less dvd's to sell in stores.

Honestly, I kinda prefer the binge. Like with Disney, they tend to drop an episode each week. Amazon has been doing this too with some of their series. But after a week I feel like I've lost some continuity I don't lose when I binge a whole season. It's more like watching a VERY long movie in more digestible segments. Binge a few episodes. Then do something else. When you get back to it, binge a few more.Yeah. Netflix used to (and maybe still does) drop and entire season at once, I'd binge watch and then jones for 9 months for the next season to drop. I was mainly referring to broadcast though, with the streaming services when they drop the entire split season at once you still have 5-6 months between if you binge.

Same here. We wait until a series is all there before we watch. Especially since the online series are less standalone than your old school network series. My preference as well.
