    A great dale of OUR money has improperly changed hands in the name of farm subsidies, but i believe you will find that the majority of the money went to 'farmers' surnamed 'Corporation'. Honestly, arch-elitist Lugar was one of the primary architects of farm subsidies for years and we all know how he rolls.

    Also, two brothers farm together with parts of it divided up amongst themselves, their children, etc. multiple people drawing subsidies on what is essentially the same farm.

    Sounds about right (albeit wrong). It seems that even in the rare occasion that the .gov intervenes for arguably right reasons, the intervention is inevitably designed in such a way that it either does not affect or else harms its intended beneficiaries while being hijacked for the profit of those who are the least deserving of largess on our dime.
