I have come to conclude , at the ripe old age of 59, and after having been immersed in the firearms culture since my teens, that the Glock 27 with G-23 mags and extenders stacked with Golden Sabers is my ultimate primary carry weapon. All Pro's, no Con's . Life is good. The rest of the collection are on a BUG rotation so they still feel the love.

I will not even attempt to offer up any debate. Instead I will live my life knowing I stopped short of perfection. Then again, I still have 7 years left to arrive at your conclusion.

I spit in the general direction of any who disagree and anyone who owns a Judge, Hipoint or 1911.

Good thing for me that I have SIGs and mouseguns. Wouldn't want to have an altercation over spittle.

The G23 is just about the perfect balance of size, capacity and caliber. My G23/G27 duo used to be my go to carry guns for the summer. I find that I shoot other guns better, so the G23 is in backup status right now.

I would opt for the G26 instead of a G27. But I have to agree that the compact Glocks with the larger mags and grip extenders handle like a larger gun. G23/27 is a good choice.

Isn't the purpose of carrying to stay rid of cons?

Agreed, I prefer the 26/19 combo. I had the 27/23 combo, but just prefer to shoot 9mm. But yes, the compact and subcompact Glock combo is outstanding.

I prefer full sized Glocks and would have to agree they are perfect. So much in fact the rest of my pistol collection got sold or traded for ammo and hand loading components to feed the new Glocks.

Darn it! I will have to try a compact now. Glock end of story.

No that I'm fiddy years old, I've decided not have any guns. I'll just make one with my fingers and thumb and say "Pew! Pew!" when I need to shoot.

Might as well use both hands and roll on the floor while you do it, except shoot faster.
