    Years ago, playing pool with a buddy at our local pool hall... he leaned in to take his turn and his chrome Desert Eagle .50 fell out of his shoulder rig. Flopped onto the table like a cinder block. He froze in place for a moment. He looks left, looks right.. reholstered... and proceeded to put the 8 in the corner as if nothing happened. Definitely a moment I will never forget.

    Back in '89 or '90 wife and I went bowling with a couple friends of hers. We were all much smaller back then. I was appendix carrying a Sig .380. Somehow I made a strike and the friends wife smarted off and smacked me in the gut. She hit the back of her hand on the pistol, which I guess hurt like hell.

    She knew I had guns, but didn't know I was carrying until that moment.

    Guess it isn't much of an embarrassing moment for me as I thought it was funny. Ah the days before the food blister....
