The radical left has protections via politicians and powerful interests groups, it's the right that will be harmed the most from lack of anonymity.

I've always used my real name. What can be known about me is already known. In the Google/Big Tech era, true anonymity is almost entirely a fiction.

Loss of anonymity may tank the platform, sadly. Anonymous speech is free speech. Making everyone submit ID for the convenience of the cancel mob isn't going to encourage free speech, it's going to destroy it.

I think I disagree. Anonymous speech is freedom to put out any unsubstantiated BS without any repercussions. Want to say something? Say whatever you want, but put your name on it. That's why I dislike "anonymous sources" in media. No proof, no verification, no liability whatsoever.
