Personal aside and nostalgia- the Big "R" was the K-Mart we used to go to when I was a kid. For a special treat, sometimes we would eat lunch at the K-Mart Cafeteria (I am dating myself).

I also did plenty of scoping out the girls at the Concord Mall just south of there.

...oh this incident? It's Elkhart (Dunlap?). I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

    Dude! Me too.

Wow! I can't believe two people from different worlds had such similar childhood experiences.

Me from God's country, you from Edwardsburg. Who'd a thunk?

I thought all you Eddies went to the Niles Walmart for a good time.

There was no Walmart in Niles when I was a kid.

My Dad worked at Miles, so we were used to going to Elkhart.

Reading between the lines I'd bet the idiot gun-owner fired a warning shot. Stupid is as stupid does... and I hope he wins some stupid prizes. like the prize granted for an unlawful discharge of a firearm (if such a statute exists in IN).

Niles had the first Walmart I can remember visiting. I stopped there in the early 90's for game bird habitat stamp or something I needed for a put-n-take pheasant hunt and the place looked 50 years old. I just assumed it had been there forever. It's still the dumpiest one around.

Reading between the lines I'd bet the idiot gun-owner fired a warning shot...

Hey, Joe Biden said it was the right thing to do.:dunno:

Mom worked at a Kmart when I was a kid in Kokomo. Remember the balloons you could pick to see what you would pay for your hot fudge sundae?

What the hell is the matter with people who do stupid things like this? Someone needs slapped in the head for further jeopardizing our 2A rights. For cryin' out loud cut this crap out and educate yourselves on when firing is justified!

I really like that store... it is close by and it has a pretty good selection.
I pick up all my work shirts there.
Bought my Liberty Safe there too.
