I have a couple of EAA Bounty Hunter single actions. They shoot fine and I am thinking about dressing them up a little. Since it is basically a SAA clone, are the grips compatible with Colt SAA or Ruger Vaquero?

Checked some other sources and never see that compatibility mentioned, so I would say odds are that they wont fit without some hand fitting but don't see any definitive info yes or no on other forums.

ETA: You might want to sift a few CASS forums if you have access

Pretty certain that would be a no go on Colt or Ruger grip interchangeability. You're not out of luck tho' there are aftermarket grips for the EAA. You might try Googling... EAA Bounty Hunter replacement grips .

I'm also not sure about the compatibility with Ruger or Colt grips, but I believe SAA's in general require some fitting even on identical brands. Like was mentioned, check the SASS board. www.sassnet.com
