Usually just a boresnake and some oil in the action after a day of shooting. I detail strip and clean, inspect, and reassemble after 4-5 range sessions.
I picked up my 10/22 as broken. Turns out, the firing pin was so gummed up that it wouldn't chamber a round. Good cleaning and it works like new... Sweet!
I try to keep all my guns clean, they seem to work better that way.

As for me, I clean all my guns after a range visit, even the .22. I like to know that when I need them to go bang that they will.
