Actually - I see your point - and I tend to agree. What I personally have a problem with are politicians who are, well, politicians first and humans second. I vastly prefer someone who is a business person and gets teed off and goes to Washington (or the State House or whatever) over someone who wishes to spend a career in "public service".
I, for one, don't feel like getting "serviced", thank you very much! And I feel that the "career" public servants have done exactly that to the country for the most part.
Todd Rokita does smell like that sort of critter to me. Better than a liberal or progressive, but I would REALLY prefer someone interested in Constitutional principles rather than their own re-election campaign.
