Hey all got a question, I have a buddy thats planning a wedding and looking into DJ's.

First off, who has hired a DJ lately, and how much $ is average to expect??

Second, any reccomendations??

The cost of a DJ service is varying as to what a person wants and how long. I used to work for a dj company that excels at weddings, receptions, college dances, proms, etc.....

last show I worked with was the KZOO club night.

Rob(the owner) is usually the one who does weddings, and has been doing this since the 80's. IDK exact prices anymore, but you'd be looking at $500 and up for 4hrs.

i have a side business as a dj. we charge 450 for local weddings, and if the wedding is not local it depends on how not local.

most djs do the time thing. we never did and never willl. if your having a good time at the reception we do not want you to shut it down on our account. espicially if were haveing a good time. he did one wedding reception that went from 5pm to 5am. now that was a little much but a few days later we got a bonus check in the mail, so atleast we were appriciated.

No, thannk god......but my ex boss got started with heart breaker over by richmond in the 80s. I stop help when I can....
