Overall, I love it, however something just doesn't seem right about it. For a late production game, in comparison with many others, the texture and graphics are god awful. The gameplay is excellent, minus the dbag kids who only snipe 24/7. I have it on Xbox 360.
I plan on selling a 1911 to fund a ps4 upon release, and upgrade to BF4 on the new system, but until then... I'm insulted with the graphics. It looks bad... very bad. BF2 had better texture.

Is there any news of a HD texture patch like bf3 had?

When you make bigger maps, more complicated engins... and am running on 7 year old hardware things get sacrificed. Just look how the consoles were capped at 16 players and the maps were cut down compared to the pc version of Battlefield 3.

I can't afford a PC that's able to run BF on Max. The last gaming desktop I had was in the era of 512mb DDRAM, a 512mb AGP GForce Ti 6400, and 250GB HD's lol.
I'm so out of the loop when it comes to what a good comp is now days.
What is a good PC to today's standards?

What would you recommend to play games like BF at their top settings? I'm interested in investing (or pissing away money since a computer is a HORRIBLE investment lol) in a high end PC. But its gonna be hard to spend that kind of $.
I guess I could always pair it with my 3D TV. That would be pretty cool.

Build your pc here, CyberpowerPC, but only if you can fix things that may be connected wrong. Of course my info is more than a couple of years old....What do you need to to play BF4? I have BF2. Don't use the pc (winxp)much anymore, just this here netbook (win7 64 bit).

I played a round of multiplayer and finished part of the campaign. I have had so many issues with the Xbox 360 version. The worst glitch is in the campaign mode where three teammates try to kick in a door on an aircraft carrier except... No door and my player just walks right through. I can't make it past that point. Major disappoint.

Way worse than GTAV's first week.

Well I built this one last year so it is a little out of date LOL

Asus Rampage IV Formula ROG X79 motherboard
Intel I7 3930K six core processor 3.2Ghz currently running at 4.5Ghz
16GB of Mushikin Redline 1600Mhz RAM
    Corsair H100 Liquid CPU cooler
    512GB Samsung SSD main harddrive
    1TB Western Digital backup HD
    Antec HTC 1000w powersupply
2x EVGA 680GTX 4GB video cards in SLI
    Pioneer BluRay burner
    Asus DVD burner
    Asus Xonar sound card
    Windows7 Pro 64bit
NZXT fan controler and 6 120mm fans
and lastly a CM Storm Trooper full tower case

This PC will run anything I have thrown at it on max , the one game it has to work the the hardest on is the original Crysis......Haven't tried BF4 yet , but I will.
Oh and the price tag for that build was a bit north of $3900.00..........

Ok this one may be a bit overkill , but I wasn't gonna screw around when I built this one and didn't want to have to upgrade every time a new game came out ;)
