Diet Pepsi is not diet Coke

So when I order Diet Coke, please don't deliver a Diet Pepsi without warning and assume I'm ok with the switch.

Same as if I ordered a Corona and was handed a Zima.

I have begun asking for a diet soda / pop because I get tired of answered to "is diet coke /pepsi OK?" Because no matter which I order, they have the opposite. Usually, between restaurants and their machines, can't tell what you're getting anyway

Diet Coke rules Diet Pepsi any day of the week.
I usually say "Do you have coke products?"
If the answer is no I say "I'll have an iced tea then."

diet any-soda is a BAD idea. research shows it F***s with your metabolism, doing more harm than good. Want "diet"? drink water, tea, etc. instead. Artificial sweetners will mess you up.

Eewww...pepsi anything is just plain nastiness! If you really want to drink soda, drink the real thing. Coke. None of that diet crap or zero, just Coke. If you want less calories just put a bunch of ice in it and don't refill your cup over and over.

My wife recoils at the very suggestion of Pepsi. Like I guess I'm an idiot or something.

I can definitly tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi, but I really don't see one as better or worse tasting than the other. Royal Crown is fine by me.

I have been working on a lot of Fountain machines and ice machines for the last year and a half or so. If you all knew what they looked like inside of the machines. you wouldn't even drink the water that comes out of them. I stopped drinking sodas out of them about the 5th one I worked on. Disgusting
