    If it's not upside down, why not just chamber the empty and detonate the primer.
    Pointing the gun in a safe direction of course.
    Problem solved, totally safe.

    I chuckled when I saw this thread, because I just had this issue. I had about 50 cases that had primers, but were of no use to me. I wanted the cases, but was just going to throw them out, since I am new and did not know the repercussions of trying to deprime a live primer. All of a sudden it hit me, go out back and see how loud one was. I put on hearing protection, and eye protection, shot one off, went inside and asked if anyone heard anything. Yes, but not quite as loud as fireworks.

    So, I went onward with it. I used my Sub2k and it worked out great. Shot a primer, used the action to extract the case, opened the folding action of the gun, placed another in, repeat. It was so fun I was just about to come on here and post about it!
