    Zoub ,
Any reason why I cant start an indoor garden now with tomatos/ peppers / so on? Even if its fall?

Light, light and more light ... they'll get leggy and awful without more light than you can imagine. With south facing windows and some great gro-lights, you stand a chance.

Well, my Mom and GF deserve the credit. Many moons ago, before going on a Fall fishing trip my Mom gave me a vac packer as a Birthday gift. WHOLLY CRAP! With dry ice all the fish I brought back fit in one large cooler. What a space saver.

Then one year for Xmas my GF gave me the dehydrator.

Since I have been using both heavily the past 4 weeks it made me think I should be nice and share. Today we smoke peppers then will toss them on the dehydrator. Then vac pack and toss in freezer.

Besides dehydrators and vac packers, add turkey fryers to the Xmas list.

I have never fried a turkey with mine ( I should they tatse great) but we use it to boil corn a dozen at a time, then slice off the cob, vac pack and freeze. For the record, hell no we don't grow corn, we buy it cheap.
