+1 for the 458, I would buy the upper and slap it on any lower you have RR is shipping with a red and green spring depending on what stock you are using. We have one and it rocks. I would not hesitate a second to shoot out to 150/175 yards on a deer size target. Remember a few years ago when muzzle loaders were considered 100 yard guns tops. Well guys practice and mess with loads until they figure out their effective range just like with every other weapon.

    Ammo is expensive

    I have a .458 and a Wildcat called a .358 Wisely.
The .458 is a deer slaying machine I have it setup with a Burris FFII 3-9 .
Shooting the 300gr Barnes TTSX sighted in a 100 it stacks up real nice with the ballistic plex holds sub MOA out to 250.
I bought the Wisley (Stevens 200) looking for more accuracy lighter and easier to carry.
I got 2 out of 3; out of the box persay it doesnt shoot better than the .458 but I have restocked it and a new trigger. I think some load development will get it where I need it to be.

Wisley is out of Bedford Bloomington area super nice guy.
