Decent Day on the Range

I haven't been out shooting in about 4-5 weeks, which is a long time for me...

I did not expect the greatest results, but honestly, this is not bad for an old guy like me. This is a 15 shot pattern fired freehand from my VP9 at 7 yards. I know a lot of you can make a single hole at 7 yards, so no snickering! I have that one shot that went wide right, but I knew that one was going to be off right as I squeezed the trigger.

Thanks folks. That is decent shooting for me, that is for sure. What surprised me most was I expected myself to be rusty and have a really mediocre performance, and instead, it was better than I expected. For an old guy...

Heck, if you can call your shot off the sights you're way ahead of most guys today. Way to go dude! Keep backing up a little at a time - you might be better than you suspect. Old guys rule! Never mess with an old guy. They won't run away or fight - they'll just put you down hard.

That's pretty good shooting. I have been training a little to get closer to that. My goal is later next year to at least have one target where most of the shots go through and make one big hole, instead of several smaller holes. Good shooting man!
