I consider myself an 'average' typer (?) no...typist...yes...and it would seem harder to type the way he does than just typing normal English. People have asked if he is using speech recognition and although that is a possibility, the use of commas instead of ellipses suggests that is not the case. I think he's just creating a name for himself, so to speak. I can understand it, 99% of the time, so I'm ok with it.

I'm sure that's a blessing to him. No doubt he'll sleep bettert tonight...

I can understand him just fine. The trick is to read it quickly, and phonetically. Don't focus on the individual words, but on the post or sentence in its entirety.
