Dealing with liquid wastes - Urine

Stale urine or stored urine smells............

Add some simple green to your supplies. A trucker told me this and I have tested it.

My test was an empty plastice two gallon weed sprayer container with the pump cap removed. I added 1/2 ounce of simple green in it before I pee'd in it. That was two weeks ago and and I've added two quarts to the mix without adding any more simple green.

No smell, or strange things happening......

So if you needed to control the smell of urine in a confined space, simple green will at least hold off the smell till you can dump it.

Your results might vary...........

I had an Industrial Class D waste water treatment license and a Municipal III license. Just pee in the yard. Nature wil take care of this small amount. Just don't pee by the front door. Just saying.

Pee in a bucket and pour into your compost. Have an outhouse set up for that very reason, only use it in warm weather though!

Checked it today....

About one gallon of goodness and oh my, it is ripe. Simple green will hold its own for about a week and then nature takes over.

No horrible smell and nothing growing in it. Some asked for pictures. The secret is the small opening.....

Test will be repeated for summer heat.

Get a gallon of the blue crap they use in RVs. A very small amount will work wonders. Or just put a lid on your pee jug.

Use your waste cooking oil in place of the motor oil. Unless your 1980 Mercedes Diesel Station Wagon needs it more for fuel.
